Candle burning instructions:

Trim the wick before lighting the candle because a too large flame can become sooty.  If your wick is too long the flame will be too big and could catch something else on fire. If a candle begins to smoke, or if the flame height is greater than 1½ inches, gently blow out the candle, allow the wick and wax to cool, and trim the wick. Remove all wick trimmings before relighting and it is not recommended to burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

When you first burn your candle, make sure to burn it long enough so that the top layer of wax melts all across the top of the jar. This can take two hours or so on an 8 oz candle and longer with larger candles.

Soy is known for having "frosting" and "wet spots"--- frosting is discoloration of the wax that resembles snowflakes against the glass. It can form at any time--even after you burn the candle. It's totally normal. Wet spots happen when the wax pulls away from the glass. Neither of these things will affect the quality or scent throw of your candle.

Wax Melt Instructions:

You simply take your wax melt and place one or more in your warmer or melter. Then light your tea light or turn on your heat warmer if it is electric. When you are finished using them, you just turn off or remove the heat source and the wax will solidify until you are ready to use it again. When you are ready to use it again, just turn the warmer back on or light the tea light (depending on which type of warmer you have).

When you are ready to dispose of the used wax melts, you just allow the wax to harden, then just allow it to heat for a few minutes to loosen it and it should pop right out.

Body Butter Instructions:

Due to the different blends of oils at an array of melt points, this body butter may change texture slightly, due to the time of year and room temperature. Do not leave package unattended in hot sunny weather. This may cause the body butter to melt. It does not compromise the quality of the product, but may shrink and oils may crystallize after cooling back down to room temperature.

Sugar Scrub Instructions:

Store the scrub a cool and dry place. To use, apply to wet skin and rub in circular motions and wash off. This may leave the bottom of the tub a bit slippery so please use caution. Since this is exfoliating, it is recommended to only use once or twice a week depending on skin type.

Lotion Bar Instructions:

Rub the lotion bar between your hands or massage directly on dry skin areas. Your body heat will soften the bar, releasing the oils and allow you to rub it in more easily. Massage the lotion into your skin until absorbed. If it is getting too soft, simply put it in the refrigerator until hard again.
